BELLINGHAM BLITZ CAPTURE WWFA CHAMPIONSHIP
Bellingham, Washington-The hometown Bellingham Bitz destroyed the Washington Wolfpack 55-16 to win the Western Washington Football Alliance title. The Blitz will now play in the Far West Football Alliance "Summer Championship", November 12th in Las Vegas, Nevada against the winner of the Wild West Football League.The first half of the game was close inspite of three turnovers by the Wolfpack including a fumble recovery by the Blitz in the end zone. The score was 41-6 in the third quarter and the Wolfpack were forced to turn the ball over from consistent pressure by the Blitz defense.The Blitz were led by game MVP QB Lion Lilly, who threw for three touchdowns and 143 yards with three interceptions.
