About the Blitz

In 2010 the Blitz over came many off and on field obstacles to once again reach the PDFL Championship. Going into 2011 the Blitz look to improving their community foot print as well as adding more committed and talented individuals in all areas of the organization.

New programs like the "send the kid to the game" and plans for several community events prior to the start of the 2011 will add awareness and excitement about the Blitz in and around the Bellingham area.

We are a team built by the community, for the community. The Bellingham Blitz are dedicated to giving back to the community. We have teamed up with many local charities such as The Brigid Collins House and Big Brother and Big Sisters as well as youth groups like the Whatcom County Cub Scouts. Our goal is to work with as many local charities as possible to support them and our community.

In 2011 the Blitz will be working with local organizations like the Bellingham Food Bank, NW Silver Stars, Alaska Federal Credit Union, Pacific Panthers Cheer and more to promote family fun events. Most Blitz home games will also support a local charity or community organization.

Our players, coaches and staff are always available to support your event or assist your organization in promoting and improving our community.

Authentic minor league football is designed to help players and coaches showcase their talents with the goal of preparing them to play at the next level. The next level can be college or professional football. Players are not charged fee's to play or compensated for playing. Instead players and coaches donate their time and support to community project and events. These events and projects not only raise money to support the Blitz program but teach the players and coaches the value and blessing of serving and supporting the community that supports them.
